History of Bunches

Bunches has been about since 1989, and it's still a family-run operation that puts customers at the heart of its business model. In the 27 years since the business was founded by Erik Hoving it's delivered more than six million bouquets - and they seem to be doing something right when it comes to keeping customers happy, judging by the reviews.

When Bunches first began, it was just Erik and wife Sandra selling flowers in a shopping centre in Mansfield. Erik had the bright idea of setting up a flowers by post company and in the first week, received just five orders. Business soon picked up though, and in 2001 the first Bunches website was launched.

In recent years Bunches has branched out into plants and gifts as well as flowers, and the company claims to have a commitment to excellent quality and super service at affordable prices.

The whole business is based in Newstead Village near Nottingham, from the florists to customer service team, to ensure that quality remains high and customers stay happy.

It's an ethical company in every way, starting with the staff and working up. Staff work under good conditions because bosses believe that a happy workforce is a productive one, while the business also gives away 10% of its profits each year to charitable causes around the UK and further afield.

Delivery Information

All of the items on the Bunches website are inclusive of delivery costs unless otherwise stated, this includes balloons and floral gifts which are send via Royal Mail first class post unless otherwise stated.

Over 95% of deliveries arrive on the next working day, but if you want to be sure of it you can pay an additional fee of £5.95 for a guaranteed delivery on your nominated day.

Bunches' hamper orders do incur an extra charge of £7.50 due to their size and weight.

Returns Policy

If for any reason you are unhappy with the flowers that you have ordered for yourself or someone special, Bunches will aim to replace or refund you for the cost of them - great care is taken to ensure that orders leave the Bunches site securely boxed but sometimes mistakes happen due to their delicate nature.

If you aren't happy with any item other than flowers, you can return it at your own cost for a refund within 14 days, providing that it is still in its original condition. Flowers are exempt from this because they qualify as perishable goods.
