TrustPilot (https://www.trustpilot.co.uk/review/www.expedia.co.uk)gives the company mostly positive scores from customers, with some 43% giving it a top satisfaction rating. However, nearly 30% gave it the lowest rating, citing confusing booking procedures, multiple charges to credit cards and difficulty in reaching useful customer support. Given the volume of bookings, you could expect some issues, and people with a ruined holiday will have a justifiable axe to grind. Expedia support will try to deal with complaints made on TrustPilot, but its own customer support sounds like it should be better and more able to intervene in an issue.
